By units I am referring to a common bet size. Your unit size is arbitrary and will vary across most bettors. If for example I am using a $10 unit size all of my bets will be $10 unless I specify that I am betting 2 units which would mean I am betting $20.
+3.5 means that the team I am selecting is not favoured in the game and for that reason they are being given 3.5 points. Essentially, you add 3.5 points onto the teams final score to determine the outcome of the game. If for example I bet on Team B and the final score is Team A 99 and Team B 98 I would still win because I am getting 3.5 points.
-111 is a way of expressing the odds on a game. 100 means even money. For example, if the odds are 100 and I bet 100 if I win I would recieve 100. If the odds are -111 and I bet 100 if I win I would win 89.
